CFVC Partners with Two Men and a Truck
In collaboration with United Way of Atlanta in establishing a program to assist families move into permanent housing, Cherokee Family Violence Center started searching for moving companies to assist families moving out of our transitional apartment complex. During this search a wonderful partnership was discovered and developed with Two Men and A Truck. The CFVC staff spoke with the customer service representative in Two Men and a Truck’s Smyrna office, who assisted us in becoming a charitable community service recipient. Since this partnership was formed, Truck Men and A Truck has not only moved families into and out of the CFVC transitional housing development, but they have picked up a large donation of beds, helped a victim relocate, and donated furniture they had in storage for the benefit of CFVC clients. Because of the generosity of Two Men and A Truck, our clients are able to experience a worry-free moving experience.
