Thank You Thursday – Our Wonderful Volunteers
This Thank You Thursday we want to thank CFVC’s unsung heroes–our volunteers!
Volunteers at CFVC help in so many ways: from helping at our front desk to allow our staff to focus on assisting our clients, to those who answer our crisis hotline, or help with our children’s support group, or serving on our Board of Directors, our volunteers really do it all. Volunteers are also some of our best ambassadors: connecting us with churches and local civic organizations to assist victims of domestic violence in our county each day.
At CFVC, we know that time is a valuable resource for everyone, and our volunteers are so generous with their’s to give back to a cause near and dear to their hearts. Some of our volunteers have been working with us for years, others are former clients, and some are just members of our community who are looking to give back in a tangible way. Anyone can write a check for a financial contribution, but truly, our volunteers give their time and talent to us, and that’s a gift that can’t be understated.
If you want to give back to your local community, sign up for CFVC’s next New Staff and Volunteer Training, June 11 from 6-9PM and June 13 from 9AM-3PM. If you have any questions about how to get involved with CFVC, please contact Meg Graham at [email protected].
