Support a Family

Throughout the year CFVC welcomes between 20 - 25 families into our Transitional Housing Program. Our Transitional Housing Program assists survivors towards a safe path to permanent, affordable housing while providing on-site supportive services. In partnership with NuRock Development Corporation, CFVC is able to offer two, three, and four bedroom apartments in a gated community where survivors can reside for up to three years. When a family is creating a moving plan, the Family's Advocate works with the family to create a registry with items they need and that will help them settle in.  In most cases, an entire housewarming registry can be obtained for less than $1,000!  (Please note, we use aliases to ensure the family's confidentiality and their safety.)

If you would like to help some of our recent move ins, please see below. We greatly appreciate your generosity and willingness to help these new families.

Ashley's Family

Ashley most recently lived with a family member where she and her kids all shared one room.  She has four amazing kids: 2 girls who love Frozen, Paris and doing their nails and 2 boys who love superheros. Ashley and her kids recently moved into CFVC's apartments, and are so excited to finally have space to stretch out! Can you help this sweet family set up their new home?

Allie's Family

Allie moved in with family members after she fled her abuser.  She and her toddler son are moving to Canton in June after enduring homelessness in Atlanta. This is the first time Allie has lived on her own. She is excited to work on certifications and licenses in the healthcare field. Please check out Allie's house warming registry.  Can you help Allie and her little family get the items they need to set up her new home?
