The Cherokee Family Violence Center is a non-profit organization. As such, we depend on the support of the community to help us serve the over 1,000 victims of domestic violence that we help each year. There are many ways in which you can support our organization and our mission.
Give – In Kind
You can make a tax deductible gift of in-kind items that will be used directly by the families in our shelter, housing program and in the community.

We are only accepting new donations at this time and have partnered with two agencies that will take our gently used donations and provide them to CFVC clients for free of charge. Donate – Online
Donate online through PayPal. Your tax deductible contribution helps support the many programs and services desperately needed by families escaping the trauma of domestic violence.
$100 provides shelter for a women and two children in our Emergency Shelter for one night
$75 provides one session of individual or group therapy to help victims heal from the abuse.
$50 supports one Legal Advocate to provide an Emergency Protective Order.
$25 provides after school childcare for one child while her mother works.
Recycle – Cell Phones
Have any old cell phones, Blackberry or other smart phones that you are not using? Consider donating them to Cherokee Family Violence Center where we can turn your old phones into an electronic lifeline for victims. If you wish to make an in-kind donation, you may drop off your donation during normal business hours (M-F 9 am – 5 pm). Please call our Administrative Office at (770)479-1804 to get directions.
