Friends and Family Group
Watching a friend or family member go through domestic violence can be scary. Join us in our Friends and Family Support Group!
CFVC Friends and Family Support Group is to help friends and families of survivors of domestic violence overcome challenges by creating a “safe space” for group members to share feelings and support one another. Group topics vary based on the needs of the group members and the types of trauma their loved one may have experienced. Some of the topics discussed in group will include: roles, caring for self, understanding from survivor’s perspective, support without blame and communication techniques.
CFVC’s Friends and Family Support Group will not be offered at this time. As this group is very important to us and our community, we are in the process of filling the facilitator’s role. Thank you for your patience. If you are in need of assistance, please call our hotline at 770-479-1703.
