"Cinema For a Cause" Raises Funds for CFVC
CFVC received a recent donation from the Georgia Theatre Company in the amount of just over $1,800! Their generous donation comes as a result of ticket and concession sales from the 10th Annual Cinema for a Cause event, held Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Cherokee Stadium Cinemas. Georgia Theatre Company raised $141,000 for charities local to their 32 locations this year alone, and the Cinema for a Cause event at Cherokee Stadium Cinemas raised over $5,000 benefiting CFVC, United Way, and Kids Cubed. Georgia Theatre Company has donated $778,500 to charity groups over the past 10 years and has been a supporter of CFVC through prior local events.
