Fall Fundraisers are Here

We have a few great opportunities to support CFVC in some really fun and unique ways this fall.

We hope you will consider participating in one, two or (even better) all three of these fantastic fundraisers:

After the success of our last Poker Run, we have decided to have another this Fall, so plan to join us on September 17th!

Our friends at Straight Edge Tattoo are planning something special for September — they plan to donate 20% of the proceeds from their services to us.

If you have been waiting for a little extra push to go get the tattoo of your dreams, this is your chance!

Chart Industries Raises Funds for CFVC

Employees of Chart Industries of Ball Ground raised funds for CFVC during the last quarter by preparing meals and selling them to employees. The money collected was matched by Chart Industries and donated to Cherokee Family Violence Center. Together Chart Industries and their employees presented a check to CFVC for over twenty three hundred dollars. We appreciate their hard work and generous donation. Chart

One Eyed Jacks RC

It is Thank You Thursday and we want to highlight our friends from the One Eyed Jacks Riding Club who brought us a donation of food items they collected for us during a recent ride.  Yard Bird (aka Matt Owens) and KC of the One Eyed Jacks are pictured here with Cherokee Family Violence Center Executive Director, Meg Rogers along with the club’s donation.  Their motorcycle club is also planning to participate in our Poker Run on April 30th.  Thank you OEJMC for supporting out programs!

Spring Party with Boy Scout Troop 241

During this month’s children’s support group, we had a spring party thanks to Boy Scout Troop 241 of Canton, Georgia.  Troop 241 organized an indoor egg hunt for the nearly 50 children in attendance that night.  The children had a great time decorating spring bags, scrambling for eggs and munching on snacks.  The Scouts presented the children gift bags to take home after the celebration.  We had such a great time getting to know the Scouts and appreciate their effort this year and their commitment to doing it again next year!
